In this work, the sky is not silent—it moves, breathes, and speaks through colour. Inspired by the shores of Georgian Bay, I use contemporary pointillism to build layers of energy, where each point becomes a pulse of life within the landscape. The sweeping sky carries a spiritual presence, while the golden sun radiates warmth, guidance, and a sense of the sacred.
The pine trees stand grounded and resilient along the shoreline, witnesses to time, memory, and connection. Below, the water reflects the rhythms of creation found in nature.
This painting is an expression of my faith, my connection to the land, and my Métis heritage. It invites the viewer to pause, to feel, and to listen—to recognize that the land is alive, and that the sky, in all its movement and colour, is always speaking.
